Technical and Professional Expertise
IBM Summer Internship 2026, Candidates must possess strong technical foundations and practical coding experience, including:
- Excellent programming skills in Java / Python, with knowledge of Pandas, NumPy, Data Structures, Algorithms, Linear Algebra, Probability, and Statistics.
- Experience with VS Code, Jupyter Notebooks, and Git.
- Familiarity with Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, IBM, Google Cloud), Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift), and Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Understanding of Networking, Security, and Monitoring Tools.
- Strong background in AI/ML fundamentals, model training, tuning, and GPU optimization.
- Exposure to PyTorch, FSDP, LoRA, RL, SFT, Dense Models, MoE, Mamba, and Multimodal Models.
- Preferred: Experience with Triton, Hugging Face, NCCL, and Pytorch Compile.
Eligibility Criteria
B.E. / B.Tech / M.E. / M.Tech (including Dual Degree) / Ph.D. students.
Minimum 70% marks or 7.0 CGPA in the current degree program.
